Creating Vision Board – Your Path To Success
If you’ve ever heard the term “Law of Attraction”, you probably know that it’s a very powerful principle. It teaches us that our thoughts become something and that everything we focus on comes to fruition.
The good news is that you can harness this power to manifest your dreams into reality. You just need to know how to do it. This post will take you through the basics of creating a vision board and how it can help you achieve your goals.
What Is a Vision Board?
A vision board usually represents a collection of pictures of your goals and dreams.
It may include pictures of beautiful women, inspiring words, and helpful phrases and affirmations that motivate you to manifest your dreams.
Vision boards are vital for anyone who wants to manifest their dreams and goals into reality.
These tools can help you visualize where you want to be in life. Boards can help you identify what you want and help you become more aware of the steps that you need to take to get there.
Vision boards are an effective way to imagine a positive future and create a sense of possibility. Research has found that when we look at a vision board and imagine a positive future, we feel more optimistic and are more likely to succeed in achieving that future.
Does a vision board really work?
I know that creating a vision board may seem childish and unnecessary. Can you think like a cut-out of color photos of things that I cannot afford and are unrealistic to fulfill, can help me change it ?! I see! Seriously … But there is a scientific explanation for this method. Vision Board is one of the visualization techniques, and visualization is nothing but mind training. This practice can take you further than you think.
Some studies show that visualization is almost as effective as exercise training. The reason is very simple. Many athletes use the visualization technique in conjunction with body training. The athlete gets better results than if he were only doing physical training by practicing both.
In our brain, thoughts produce the exact instructions to the mind as actions. Visualizations affect brain processes such as control, attention, perception, planning, and memory.
It has been found that such mind training increases motivation, self-confidence, and self-confidence and directs the mind towards success to achieve the life of your dreams.
It turns out that visualizing goals, as well as creating them, can be very helpful for achieving them, so it might be worth your while to try it.
How to Make a Vision Board
You can make a vision board in many different ways. Some people prefer using a dry erase board, while others like to use a piece of poster board with images printed on it. The key is to make it easy for you to access the vision board and reference it often.
Your motivations affect how you approach your goals. For example, if you want to lose weight, your motivations may be health-related, like wanting to be able to run around the park with your kids or wanting to be able to fit into those jeans you haven’t been able to wear in ages.
You may want to look good in front of the mirror. Maybe you want to impress a certain someone.
Vision boards are used by many people to set and attain goals in their life. Often, people have a dream of being rich, beautiful, successful, and so on. But often have so many plans that it’s hard to decide what’s most important to us.
We get caught up in wanting to have everything we can get our hands-on. This leads to a cluttered vision board with a ton of goals. Be more specific, less general. Start with two or three areas that you want to improve. Once you’ve focused on these areas, build out your vision board.
Some people may think that they need to have all their dreams and goals figured out before creating a vision board. However, that isn’t necessarily true.
You can create a vision board at any time. My advice is to start with what you can realistically accomplish in the next few months or years, then work on the next steps.
Planning Out Your Vision Boards
Start by focusing on your goals. I like to use a vision board to visualize what I want to accomplish. My board usually includes my goals and pictures of people who inspire me. It’s essential to balance my dreams and the people in my life that support me.
You can have a vision board in many different ways. Some people have a physical board, others use a digital one, and others prefer a virtual vision board. It’s up to you.
Creation Process – Steps to Follow
1. Put together a list of goals you want to achieve
Make a list of the things you want to do in your life that will lead you to achieve these goals. This can be as simple as writing down the things you need to do to make yourself healthy or as complex as setting up a business or a new career.
2. Collect a bundle of old magazines with relevant pictures
Explore websites offering the data you are looking for. Find old magazines, books with pictures, and photographs. Old maps and atlases can be useful as well.
3. Look for pictures that represent your goals and inspire you
Look through your photo albums and magazines to find pictures that speak to your heart in some meaningful way. Cut out the pictures that make you say, “Yes!
4. Make a collage out of your selected pictures
Once you have collected enough photos, it’s time to make your vision board.
It’s easy to just attach pictures, like photos or graphics, directly to your packaging using glue, pins, or tapes.
While this will work, I encourage you to make your collage by combining pictures with words and images that inspire you. This will help bring your vision to life as you are able to see it in your mind’s eye.
What should I put on my vision boards?
Your vision board is your own personal map for achieving your dreams and aspirations. By using visual imagery, you will be able to see where you’re headed and how to get there.
Take your goals and ambitions into account when creating your vision board. If you want to achieve your goals, handwrite them instead of typing them. There is something energetic about actually writing your goals.
Make sure that your vision board is evolving and changing. As you start working on your vision board, you may find that your goals will change. Some of your goals may seem insignificant, but they are actually important. Don’t be afraid to add some of your dreams to your vision board because they will become more important as you begin working toward them.
To make your vision board work, put it somewhere, you can see it.
To make your vision board work, you need to be aware of what you want, and then you need to make sure that you keep your vision board in your mind.
I recommend putting it on your nightstand, your home office, or your television to be within your line of sight every day. The best part is that you can change your vision board every day if you want to, so keep it fresh and up-to-date.
A vision board is a powerful tool for visualizing your goals and dreams. It helps you stay focused on what matters most, and it’s also a great way to track your progress.
If you’re not comfortable creating a full-scale vision board, you can create a smaller version. For example, you could cut your poster board in half or use the largest photo frame you have on hand. Or you can use your digital vision board as your laptop’s backdrop or your phone’s home screen.
CREATE YOUR DREAM MAP
The law of attraction is a universal principle that we all experience. Whether you believe in it or not, the fact is, you are attracting everything that happens to you. You are the architect of your own destiny.
I firmly believe that we draw from life, the universe, God – call it what you like – exactly what we focus on. If you focus on negative events all the time, you experience more and more of them. Why not focus on the positives of change?
I think that, just like me, you prefer to direct your energy in this direction.
